Myanmar FF’s AFC Grassroots Charter Bronze Membership renewed

Yangon: In recognition of the Myanmar Football Federation (MFF)’s steady efforts in developing its landscape of grassroots football, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has extended its AFC Grassroots Charter Bronze membership.

First awarded with a Bronze membership in 2019, the MFF has, over the years, demonstrated its keenness to enhance its grassroots football programme through numerous avenues, including increased community engagement, organisation of youth competitions, and the provision of training resources for local coaches and players.

Kuala Lumpur: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Grassroots Review 2024 is now available on the-AFC.com, capturing the various initiatives of the AFC and highlighting the immense hard work of its Member Associations (MAs).

Additionally, for the first time, accompanying the AFC Grassroots Review is the Confederation’s latest technical resource – the AFC Elite-Youth Bulletin, which aims to provide guidelines and support to the Confederation’s MAs in their efforts to enhance player development, both at the national and club levels.

Kuala Lumpur: The Northern Mariana Islands Football Association (NMIFA)’s perseverance in developing the beautiful game has been recognised with the renewal of their Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Grassroots Charter Bronze Membership.

First awarded in 2019, the renewal acknowledges the NMIFA’s continuous dedication and passion to grow the sport despite the economic challenges that come from being a small nation.

Kuala Lumpur: The Asian Football Confederation’s (AFC) Member Associations (MAs) commemorated the 11th AFC Women’s Football Day with a series of informative, challenging yet fun events that showcased just how far women’s football has evolved over the years, and how it continues to rapidly progress.

Close to 40 MAs organised activities that not only honoured past achievements, but also encouraged more women and girls across the Continent to be a part of the world’s most popular game.

AFC WAP visit boosts women’s football development in Kyrgyz Republic

Bishkek: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) further underlined its commitment to advancing women’s football across Asia when it conducted a visit to Bishkek, capital city of the Kyrgyz Republic, under the AFC Women’s Assistance Programme (WAP) earlier this month.

Taking place between April 3 and 5, the visit was led by AFC Head of Women’s Football Bai Lili and focused on understanding the landscape of the women’s game in the region, strengthening ties with The Kyrgyz Football Union (KFU), and supporting the country’s growing ambition to elevate women’s football at all levels.
